I am not mad at TJ anymore, right now I am just really excited. Officailly in an hour and 20 minutes, it will be 2 and a half days until my cousin gets here. I was only mad at my brother because I was having a bad day.
Â
Also thankyou Jessica, Jayne, and Alexis.
Â
I think I will be coming to the Chicago premier at the end of the month. Scary thing: My brother is going to be driving us there, he has his permit! :O

I am so sick of my brother. All he ever does is complain and think of himself. My mom will ask him to do something, and he won’t listen. He gets mad at me and starts fighting with me. If something doesn’t go his way, he gets bent out of shape. I got mad at him today and I called him conceited (which I still beleive is true). He got mad at me for that. He is though! Everything is always about him. He even was bribing me, saying,
“I won’t be mad at you if you do this for me!”
Then we started to build a fort, and he decides he is going to boss me around and tell me that I am doing everything wrong and is yelling at me. Then he decides his work isn’t good enough and tries to make a deal so that way I would have to clean it all up.
I come to this point.
I AM DONE. HE IS NOT MY BROTHER. HE IS JUST A PERSON THAT LIVES IN MY HOUSE. I AM NOT HIS SISTER. I DON’T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH HIM.

I am so excited! My cousin Tiana gets to come to my house in 11 days! (I think) She lives all the way out in Iowa and is excited to see what it’s like in the suburbs.

Everyone! I’m bored. That’s what my life is everyday now I guess. I’m going on a diet (a healthy diet anyway that follows the food pyramid). I need help! Give me suggestions on good food to eat.

Well I guess since Holly has been kicking my butt at posting here I figured I better get on this thing. In my defense however, my cats ate the power cord for my computer, rendering my laptop to be really more of a decorative box for the past wek or so because I had no way to turn it on.
So yeah…blogging…here I go.
My name, for the purpose of the movie, is Boots and I was a counselor at Swift Nature Camp the summer that the documentary was made. That summer was my first summer as a residential camp counselor and holy cats pajamas what a learning experience that was.
However my chance involvement with Summercamp! had afforded my some pretty cool experiences. I have been lucky enough to go and see the premier of the film in Austin (definetly in my top ten coolest cities) which was crazy fun. I also was able to travel to Toronto to see the film once again at the Toronto Film Festivle which was wicked cool as well. Shannon, my best friend, partner in crime, hetero life partner as well as counselor in the film (note the black hair was a result of black Tuesday) went with me on both of these excursions and the trips wouldn’t have been the same without her. Through my involvement with this film I have been able to meet some superbly talented individuals as well. Sarah and Brad our fearless directors along with Devie and Damon who left all the comforts of home to spend three weeks at the Circle Pines Inn in order to capture all the magic at SNC are all amazing people. I don’t know if I should tell you these closely gaurded secrets but Sarah has the ability to dance like that of Mario Lopez on Dancing With the Stars. Brad possess a pair of indoor/outdoor black square rimmed glasses that has lead me to believe that he is either a super hero that has the ability to predict the future through those fancy frames of his, or else he is a far bigger stud then I had previously suspected. Devie is the world’s greatest chaparone. Seriously parents, you could trust this beautiful woman with your prescious ones with out a second thought. She is that good. And last but certainly not least, Damon. The man who loves the song baby shark in a manner that rivals my love for newborn kittens. Plus I’m pretty sure he spends most of his days as a Ford Taurus waiting and hoping for Optimus Prime to utter those famous words “Autobots Transform.” Yes Damon, you are indeed a superhero in my eyes.
I have also seen the film in Chicago, which was cool to see how much all of the campers had grown up in the past couple years as well as Milwaukee which was a night I will not soon forget.
And as for now apparently the film is taking a little cross country trip to select cities for your viewing pleasure.
Good grief, all I wanted to do that summer was play with some kids.

p.s. If you have been reading my post and noticed my poor spelling and grammer abilities they are not out of carelessness. You may blame Mrs. Henry, as I personally do, for her lack of attention while teaching me grammer and how to spell words in my early years.

My dad works for a car deeler. He is like me. He borrows cars from work. Work stresses him out. He is always stressed out.
My mom is fearless. She is nice. She lets me get away with things. She always works. But she still helps me.

I have been really bored but I found this really fun game called monkey kickoff. Hahaha… See if you can beat 4,115 monkey feet! To visit it, just go here:

Hey Sarah, it matters when the monkey kicks the ball. When the ball is high up in the air is when you want to kick it and that is how you get it to the monkey village.

Hi, my name is Holly Stephenson and I am 13 years old. I starred in a movie called Summercamp! It has taken me a very long time to get a start on my blog. You couldn’t even believe why.
It all started out 2 weeks ago, on Saturday. Half-way through the day I got really sick. I called my mom and I told her I wasn’t feeling well. She told me to go take 2 Advil.
“Mom, I swear, I feel terrible and I can’t move otherwise I get winded.â€
I replied.
So she said,
“Fine, I’ll call back and don’t pick up the phone. Let your brother pick it up so I can tell him to get you Advil.â€
When she called back I let my brother, TJ, pick up the phone and then finally about 20 minutes later he brought me Advil. You could tell he was annoyed. He threw the whole container at me and told me,
“Mom doesn’t believe you.â€
Then he left.
I rested a lot more that day. It even hurt to close my eyes because my fever was so high it felt like I was frying my eyeballs. Finally, my mom got home from work. I was shivering under the covers in my room. It took her a long time before she finally came upstairs to see how sick I really was.
She felt the back of my neck and then raised her eyebrows. She left and then came back with a thermometer. When she checked my temperature, she cussed and then said,
“Come on you have got to get in the tub! You’re temperature is 104.9!â€
I got in the tub and it was really cold. It just felt worse then under the blazing covers. Mom left me to soak and came back about 10 minutes later.
Even more shocked, she said,
“Oh my god, you’re turning green!!â€
I was really scared and I started panicking. I couldn’t breath. Every breath was broken up and my lungs felt like they were shrinking into raisins.
“I can’t breath!†I told mom.
She finally decided to take me to the ER, and we grabbed my stuffed chicken fluff, as we left.
When I came home from the ER, I took some Tylenol and went to bed. They didn’t know what I was sick with; all they did was tell me how to cope with the symptoms. I am still sick right now, but I can get up and move and stuff. I should be off the hook in a week.
Lately I have actually been able to help out around the house. Backbreaking labor with the chores outside. We’re taking out our old deck and believe me, I don’t like carrying wheelbarrows full of rotten spider infested wood. I’ll make it through this though. I always do.
